Heading back to our starting point, "Gouvia
Marina"
Unfortunately we were lacking wind on our last day, so we had to go fully on the motor. Thanks too the auto pilot it was not that tough.... We arrived early in the marina, spending the rest of the afternoon in the swimmingpool, verrrrry refrrrreshing.......... Also the first opportunity to take a real shower, other than with the plastic shower back on deck of the boat !!
Back in the Marina, the clearing of the ships starts, and the group is completing again for the latest stories and a last joined diner....
That day, one of the ships (the Daphni) had a "minor" problem; their motor broke down just in the middle of the shipping lane. Not a good moment and place when there is almost no wind.... Piet and Marijke went back immediately to pick them up. As the motor could not be repaired on the spot, Piet towed the whole boat back to the harbor.......
This evening our small Suzuki Jeep was brought to the marina, so we have our transportation ready.
Tomorrow, we will go to the club hotel which we will use as our base for the remainder of our our vacation. We need to leave the boat at 9:00 am. Pffffff early wake up call I guess.....
