The final golf round..... Last
day in Austria.....
and unfortunately no golf-pictures ........
Last match was played on the 18 holes from the Golfclub Moosberg. Accompanied the whole day by a threatening Thunderstorm, we almost kept it dry. Only the last few holes were somewhat wet..... We played together with Mr Schaefer and his Italian Friend. For me the day went very well, specially the front 9 with 47 was very satisfying. Certainly when you take into account we played from the white tee, which accounts for 6200 meter and I started with hcp 25. Erik had bad luck; this was just NOT his day...... He lost many balls and his drive was just not coming as usual. Sadly enough (for him !!), with that he lost his advantage he has built up so nicely over the past days.....
Well, where are the pictures ??????????????????? SORRY !!! Forgot to put the memory card back in the camera, so no Golf Views........
Erik decided not to be TOO cultural and spent the evening playing some games and watching television in our hotel room...... While I went out......
For the evening, I was the one with some bad luck !!!!! With Robert and Elisabeth we had booked tickets for an open air opera in the Old ruins of Finkenstein..... BUT just in time to spoil our evening it started raining !!!! Good there was a special Theater Tent built next to the old castle, so at least the performance went through.....
And how things normally go, as soon as
you are insight in a nice atmosphere with friendly people and a glass of champagne,
EVERYTHING turns out to be OK again, so we really enjoyed this great performance !!

The opera we were seeing was NABUCCO from Verdi..... I was expecting not a great deal from it as this was some kind of open air thing..... BUT I must admit this was serious stuff !!! Very good singing, enthusiastic orchestra and great costumes. Wow, this completed more then worthy our stay in Austria !!!!
Back at home got some quick coffee and up to he room, as we want to leave 4:00 in the morning the next day, heading for Pula, Croatia!!!
